This course is being offered to all students from sicteen (16) years of age and older.

Aim of the Course

The goal of driver education is to instill a more responsible attitude in the student. We feel that is absolutley necessary for the safe operation of a motor vehicle. This responsibility includes courteos, predictable and artful.

Classroom Lessons

Twenty-five (25) hours in class instruction is given on the principles for safe dricing, rules of the road, driving in adverse conditions, alcohol and rugs and their effect on driving ability, lefal aspects of insurace and much more. Included in the program will be refular test and approprate films.

In Car Lessons

twelve (12) hours in-car lessons are given for standard training and ten hours of automatic training. These lesons are given for standard training under the strict direction of provincial government qualified instructers.

Temporary Permit

Students must have a valid G1 permir (or greater) in order to commence the in car portion of the prgoram.

Insurance Discount

Certificates will be awarded towards students who successfully complete the course. These certificates qualify the student for a reduction in insurance rates.

Course Fee

The course fee is $350.00 (plus GST) is payable on registration. The fee covers 25 hours of classroom instruction and 10 hour in car training in an automatic transmission vehicle. (Standard transmission course fee is $499.00 (plus GST). 12 in-vehicle lessons are provided). A receipt for income tax purposes will be provided upon full payment.

The road test is an additional optional $75 (plus GST) per student (in town): This cost is for the use of the car for the test. Out of city tests are $175.00 (plus GST)
